I have been counseling both individuals and couples for more than 26 years. My husband of 15+ years and I faced numerous fertility challenges and ultimately were unable to have children. However, we consider ourselves very fortunate to have the unconditional love of multiple dogs we’ve had over the years; our fur babies. We thoroughly enjoy their company and taking care of them (and, of course, spoiling them!) Currently we have just one left, a Yorkie named Toby. You may actually get to meet him as he’s often at the office with me!
I obtained my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. I earned my M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. I then studied at Barry University, based in Miami Shores, FL, and earned a Ph.D. in Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy.
I offer counseling in English and Spanish. Upon request, I can counsel from a Christian perspective. My treatment approach is tailored to your specific needs and may incorporate one or more of these types of therapy:
